Destination Florence

Why we love Florence

Florence is a cultural powerhouse – the art capital of the Renaissance, home to the magnificent Duomo, the medieval Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi and Michelangelo’s magnificent David. If art is not your thing, you can indulge in chic shopping (gold jewellery, butter-soft leathers, exquisite shoes), explore colourful markets and wonderful gardens, and enjoy fine Tuscan food and wines.

Modest apartment, two flights up. Everything worked fine although the bed was quite hard. Super location: short walk from the train station (SMN) and short walk to the Mercato (check it out!)
Apartment Trebbio

We were welcomed warmly to the apartment and everything was explained. We were given a map, an explanation of the main points of Florence, a bottle of wine and some biscuits. The apartment had everything we needed although we would have liked it if the washing machine had a dryer function as well. Everything else was perfect and it enabled us to thoroughly enjoy our stay in Florence. Thanks again for everything and for the personal welcome.

Excellent location. Clean. Very spacious. Plenty of room for sofa bed in lounge room. Sofa bed ok for our two children aged 10 and 8 but wouldn't recommend any people older than that sharing it.
