Destination Rome

Why we love Rome

From the ancient Roman Pantheon to Bernini’s Baroque flourishes, the Villa Borghese and the Vatican to Zaha Hadid’s brilliant 21st century Maxxi Gallery, Rome is a city like no other. The endlessly stylish Romans embrace their history but they’re also passionate about enjoying life, high fashion, good food … and an aperitivo at sunset. When in Rome, why not do as the Romans do?

Apartment Ancient Trastevere

Reviewer: Joanne V. Review date: September 2015     Party type: Older Couple     Visiting from: Australia

We enjoyed our two week stay in the Apartment Ancient Trastevere. It was nice to receive a warm personal welcome and to find that some basic cooking, food and beverage items were supplied to get us started. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and in a great location. It is very close to the Vatican and Piazza Navona, as well as being feasible walking distance to attractions such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain. The wonderful Villa Farnesina is just around the corner and the Trastevere area is a great place to eat and shop!
Apartment Pantheon Due

Reviewer: Katie S. Review date: September 2015     Party type: Mixed Group     Visiting from: United Kingdom

This apartment is lovely and in a prime location next to the Pantheon. We were within walking distance of most of the main sites in Rome. At night the Pantheon comes alive and there are a lot of small restaurants you can go to. We were early when we arrived at the apartment, however John let us in to put our bags down and show us around. He was also accommodating to letting us have a late check out when we left as we had a late flight. Overall, we really had a great time in Rome and would recommend this apartment.
